what is the most variation in deck clearance cylinder to cylinder you have run? At what point does it create an issue?

I have a slight angle front to back on the block at about .003-.004, same on both sides. It looks to move .001 per hole. I have about .008 variation in the rods (a couple have been resized). So by matching rods to cylinders I can vary from .008-.013 in the hole, which puts the quench at .035-.040 with a .027 gasket. I can true up the rods to the shortest length, go .013-.016 in the hole and have quench at .040-.043 with the same .027 gasket. Then again, I can true up the deck and rods, put them .005 in the hole and use a .040 gasket.
I just want to spend where I need to, too many other things that need attention and money.
