MW Stealth Heads - 11/10/10 03:19 PM
Guys can the Stealths be brought out to MW? I used the search button... and no real answer other than some guy on bbdart.com did it. Anyone got any feedback?

That's what you get when you buy the CNC'd version.

Are you sure? I dont see it mentioned anywhere that they are MW ports? I have the CNC version. Thanks.
PS. I stole that pic from this forum. Not my heads.

I have the CNC stealths and they are not max wedge sized ports. However, I spoke with Jeff at Modern Cyl head (does the cnc work for 440source) and he said they can be opened up to MW if need be. No big flow advantages though, other than being able to run some arguably better intake manifolds.

Don! Buy my converter! a9sec70cuda will attest to the quality !
x3. the cnc stealths are not mw, and i wouldn't recommend going any bigger than the cnc port job. personally, i won't use the stealths again. i tried them once and they cracked badly within a few runs. shattered, actually. to their credit, they promptly replaced them with a new set, which have been working fine since then, and they make good power, but i am gunshy.

Hello,
Jeff has 2 versions of his cnc program. They flow very close to the same numbers. The near MW version is purely to provide additional volume for the larger ci motors. It helps fill the cylinders better. Id use the near MW version for anything 500ci or larger.

just to avoid the bathtub intake for the rest of your life would be worth it to go MW size with the 337 intake and use regular MW gaskets
