Calvert's 90/10 front shocks...who likes them?

well I tried to order a set for my challenger and they are on a 6-8 week back order

I may have a set for sale soon if I find out they are too loose for my car.

Just heard back from Calvert and they're making them and should be ready in the new year.He said he'll email me when they're ready.

I love mine. When you look at a video of my launch in slow mo, the front end makes a nice arc. Front wheels are off the ground a foot out of the beams and come back on the ground near the 60' timer. Front tires touch down and the front end settles down real soft. Only problem I have is when the car isn't lined up straight, it wants to come down in the wrong lane
I have SS springs in rear, 6 cyl torsion bars in front, 440, 727, no transbrake, no cal tracts, 3200 lb E body. 6.52/104 in 1/8th, 10.38/127 in 1/4, 1.38 60'.

Mine work great. Signature pic shows the car about a foot out of the beams and still rising.
They come back down quite controllably.
Using Rancho's as Calvert suggested on the rear usually set around 7.

You can limit the total rise, or slow up the rise with some work.
A length of 1/8" or 5/32" wire cable attaches to something substantial (under the shock tower is OK) and the control arm, but not directly.
The wire is attached to a strong coil spring (heavy wire, steep pitch) with some slack in it vs. the total "up" distance.
When the car begins to rise, it functions normally.
When the slack runs out, the nose must extend the spring so the rate slows at the last minute. The "pull" tension determines how much it slows.
Adjust the length with the usual U-clamps. I've seen dirt-track links with opposing springs in a tube and sliding adjusters, but it's a lot of work.
Can also bias rise left to right, but be careful!
