Anyone ever replace their super stock springs with mono leafs and cal-tracs? Wonder if it would be a good trade off.

From what I hear going to Cals and monos is a big difference.They are really supposed to hook.Ill install them in the 65 and pull the SS springs when I get another body.Rocky

how many folks have kept the original springs and went with cal-tracks?

we installed the Cal trac's on our 70 GTX from SS springs.
the change took care of hooking but if we were to do it again for the expense and labor involved should have gone ladder bar.
Reason, the rear of the car sits higher than we care for. Ladder bar would have taken care of that, this is a drag race car only, never sees the street.

i installed the cal trac complete setup in my 67 b-cuda. opted for the -1 inch ride height version. couldnt be happier!!. when i bought mine you could get +1.. stock .. or -1 height.
