Odd wheel bolt pattern - 10/20/10 02:14 AM
Have a ford 9" that has a 5 X 5 1/4" bolt pattern and can't find wheels for it. Two of us measured it several times. Help
Quote:That is probally out of a Lincoln or Mercury car May be difficult to find wheels for them How about changing the bolt pattern to 5x4.5 like stock Ford and Mopar

Quote:Hard to say without seeing them, a lot of the early big pattern wheels and axles had really big center holes in them also Look twice, measure three times, change once
See...that's why I love this site All I'd have to do is change the drums and axels right?

sorry there are no 5 x 5.25 patterns.
I listed the 5.5" but failed to mention no 5.25
here's a chart with all the sizes made and in use today. as for the 5.25 sometimes it's just how you measure. Not trying to be a smarty but if you are getting 5.25 by measuring across the center to the farthest hole it is the wrong way. the pattern is derived by the measuring the diameter of the circle and then counting the number of studs or holes placed evenly around that circle.
