Date hasn't been set yet as far as I know; traditionally early April, could be late March though. They have a website, moparsatthestrip.com.

Tried to get ahold of Painter a few times, but never got any return calls. His Mopar dealership is now a Mutsubishi dealership you know

I've heard it will happen, but Phil may not be promotor, I've LVMS may be the promotor??? Think it has a little to do with the Painter-Mopar relationship

I spoke with Jill a couple weeks ago and she said they were waiting for confirmation of dates.
My understanding of the dealership issue was that the Utah mopar dealerships were Phil's parents' and brother's. Phil and Jill moved to vegas a few years ago and had a used truck dealership there. I may be wrong, but I think that's what I was told.

Well I will be thrilled if it continues on. It has always been a fun race for us to run. Well except maybe last year anyway. I hope it does happen on a weekend with no schedule conflicts for sure.

Glad to hear they have a date for the show. Now if luck holds the NHRA wont schedule anything fo rthat weekend. Not holding my breathe on the latter.

To Smokeyburnout67,, It sure would be nice to see a few of the Boy's (and girl's) from the "Burgh make the show. I know that it is a far 2200 + miles but I made the CC Pittsburgh Mopar show for the last 5 years..... Come and enjoy the scenery !! I understand why if YUN's can't ( It's a Pittsburgh thing for the rest of the world) But I really think Eastern Mopars can kick some butt.
