Got my first win finally at the Drag Strip after a few runner-ups and semi final finishes over the years! 
Sunday I joined up with my buddies with the Cowtown Mopars and went to the TMCCC (Texas Muscle Car Club Challange) race at Texas Raceway (Kennedale) . Kennedale is a 1/8 mile track
I raced in the Stock Muscle Class.
I raced a Mercury in the first round, just caught him at the stripe and won by .0035 seconds on my 10.60 dial.
2nd round was a Ford F150, chased him down and got him by .074 seconds. on a 10.62 dial ran a 10.649
3rd round was a bye into the finals so I ran as hard as I could and it only went 10.669. Tha car just seemed to keep slowing down thru the rounds. so I changed the dialin to 10.65 for the final.
The final I was lined up againt a 08 Challanger. He dailed in at 10.27 I was dailed in at 10.65. It was a good race I had a slightly better reaction time, my .178 to his .212 we ran pretty much neck and neck all the way down the track, I think we were pretty much side by side at the stripe, I think I might have taken the stripe, not sure, it was that close. Anyway I won on a double breakout. my 10.629 to his 10.20.
Oh since I'm currently TDY here in Fort Worth, I raced the rental car.
A Chrysler 300 with a 3.5L.
