quick fuel q950 carbuertor

I'm trying to figure out what a positive throttle / gas pedal stop is? The directions say it is mandatory to use it . What I have is 1964 dodge 330 stock throttle set up for a big block.

just something to stop over pull,over center on carb butterfly when full throttle.this can cause butterflies to jam open
either have cable adjusted to suit or i have fitted a adjustable bolt to the floor under the accel pedal
