Jason,

Nitro Plate is in Nashville, send them to my house at FT Campbell and I will have my oldman run them down there and pick them up and reship when done. Just shoot me a PM here or on c-c.c and let me know if this interests you.

We have paid as much as $300 to have used headers blasted, slight repairs and coated with the polished ceramic coating inside and out.I have one set thats almost 20 years old and still look great. We have had some that we Jet-Hot coated that rusted in 2 years.

On the slip tubes once in a while we need to scuff them down a little, but not very often.

I would pass on NitroPlate. I had my Hookers redone by them year before last. They have the thinnest plating I have ever seen. It looks like ceramic paint rather than coating.

They did not coat the inside of the tubes. It peeled on one tube rather soon and they blew holes around the tube/flange joint on 2 or 3 tubes when they blasted them. Now the collectors are starting to rust through the coating.

I know they say lifetime warranty, but who wants to pull the headers back off and wait a couple of weeks to get them back. Besides, I just don't think much of their finished product.

Well engine is ready to pull out and was thinking my headers have that crap high temp header paint flaking off of them! Is that any extra charge since most headers they get would be like this!
