Ruuner Up/Semi Finals/Points lead after Kil Kare - 08/30/10 01:50 PM

A good weekend at Kil Kare this weekend. A runner up finish in Sportsman yesterday gave me just enough points to get in the lead going into Norwalk, and a semi Final finish in 10.0 should be enough to get me into second in that class. Congrats to John Gray who mathmatically should have this season clinched for the 10.0 championship.

Thanks Terry, this is gonna be fun at Norwalk. Sportsman is the most competitive class in CC events right now, followed by Super Pro, then Hemi.

Hey wheels up what was you driving? i made it to the final 8. slipped on the line and red lighted to a duster. the finale came down to a new dodge ram and a duster. the Ram got runner up. is there more than one sportsman class?

Yeah that was me in the truck, went -.005 red in finals against a .211 light.

Great Job Lonnie! The wife wants me to park the roadster and race the Dart for awhile so we can make sure its all dialed for Norwalk. So hopefully I'll see you there.

A .211 light in the finals means he probably saw the Red light come on in the other lane since Lonnie's truck gets a good head start on most runs.

I seem to always be a .060 or worse when I see the other car go Red. I guess its a like a little celebration in my head before I go.
