This was always one of my favorite races to announce. Lots of good, close racing!

Talk about some hitters. 1/8 mile packages are unreal. Today's 10 K (a Mopar) winner had 3 .000 lights in a row. I took my knife (5.90 dial, foot brake, 10"tire) to a gun fight. Managed to go 5 rounds. My worst light in 2 days was .036, those kind of numbers weren't even in the ball park. Numerous packages of less than .010. One unfortunate incident. Nick Bowman s Duster got hit from behind by an out of control Altered in the shut down area. Both drivers were OK but both cars wrecked pretty bad. Had a great time.
