i got there a little early 9am and the gates open at 10.

there was at least 80 race cars in line to tech into the track at Lenders lot.things went well today accept someone went into the wall after the finish line.not sure of the car count.about 450 give or take.ready for the show tomorrow.

on way out of track, group discussion with Pinks official at end of staging was saying only 1 arm drop run Sat., not 2 runs.
Not sure if we heard correctly .
Anyone?

Just spectating with friends, cluster of cars in the 9.50 to 9.75 bracket which they are in.
Fingers crossed.
lots of nice rides. the one wreck slid by us sideways and on the retaining wall, crunched the left front pretty good, driver apparently ok. heard brakes locked.
Mopar crowd well represented.
Saw 2 9" punkins being rebuilt on the pavement.

ray ran 8.88/157 and 8.99/?mph.there was about 10 cars from 8.7 to 9.3.i cant see much happening there.good luck to ya!

i am at the 900ft mark on the fence.great seats if i have to watch.

My friend Melanie is out there with her Blown SBC '73 Gremlin. They just put the blower back on and spent today's test passes messing with jetting. Hope she does well...Have fun out there, Mike!

Friend of mine from this area is there with a Chebby....Gary Pashen..I think he was taking his '53 Chev with BIG block Chev in it. He also has a '55 and a '02 Corvette that are all BIG block powered and tube chassis. Anybody see him??? Just curious....

is the 53 red and the 55 black?once the race got started with 16 cars it was not bad.low 10 field.

The last time I saw them, the '55 was gloss black and the '53 was flat black, the Vette is white. Pretty nice cars. Well built chassis...

Thanks for the complement, the problems were small had a lower radiator hose start leaking, at least it let go on the starting line not at 130 plus

wow!glad you caught that!1 time a lineman was looking under a car and rich armdropped while the guy was almost under the car.

The purple 70 Duster with GENOS on the doors was my old car, I sold it to a friend at the end of last year, He said it went 10.16 with a mild 440 in it, he plans to build a new motor for it this winter.
It was actually another friend of ours that was driving it, the motor in her car blew up so Mel lent her the Duster so she could race.
