Big Block Mopar Front Motor Plate: Who makes the best? - 08/07/10 06:35 PM

Its time to replace ours as its starting to lose some of its rigidity in the center of the plate. Just wondering what designs are out there and which ones are good and sturdy.

Mancini Racing has them in either solid 3/8 or the CNC machined version. They have them for either A body or B/E body cars.

S & W race cars. Be sure to off set it to the right unless you've moved the engine.

I went with AndyF's when we redid the motor and engine compartment on the coronet.

I've got AndyF for both my 67 and 70 Barracuda's, Bought from Mancini Have had many comments on how great they look. Must be because they do.

You want to know something weird? I don't have one of my plates in my own car! The plate in my car is something that I built about 20 years ago and it is really ugly compared to the design I sell these days. I obviously need to swap out my old plate for one of the current designs.
