Our day of MoPar worship - 07/24/10 08:39 PM

today is our annual day of MoPar worship here in south east Queensland, people come from far and wide for this one, even the MoPar pro stock car is here from the state of Victoria, thats like a 40 hour drive from here

but would'nt ya know it after having no rain since April this morning we have light drizzle & the weather forecast is for it to increase throughout the day....

Re: Our day of MoPar worship - 07/25/10 05:52 AM

It turned out that the weather held off & we had a nice mild over cast day, not bright blistering sunshine for a change,

this was by far the biggist MoPar Sunday I have seen in 5 years, massive infact.

the MoPar pro stock boys were there & treated the day a test session for a new combo they are working on, they say they have a 6 sec set up but the weather was not in their favour, still they put up a good show for the crowd.

one of my personal favorites from today (& I mean one, there were many) was this cuda from Cairns (north Qld) about 40 hours drive north of us.

Ive seen lots of wheelstands from mopars before but NEVER like this thing, High, straight and long

note the Qld rego plate, she's street leagal

Darren is a member on here VC 360. I didn't know it run on methanol. Last I heard it could run on pump fuel.

And yes his car is very impressive. Hats off to those guys.

well, commentators have been wrong before, but enlarge the rear end pic and see how the tail pipes have been flatend by those wheelstands....

hang on... tail pipes!, rego plate!! AND wheelstands!!! from a small block???

& NO street car in Australia will ever be legal running methonol so it could well be a pump gas car
