340 Victor vs M-1 - 07/24/10 04:52 PM
Theres a Victor 340 available around here for $ 125.00. I am currently running the M-1 single plane. Would it be worth it to swap to the Victor? Car has a 360 stroked to 410, solid cam, 950 carb, edlebrock heads, 4500 stall convertor, and 456 rear. Currently runs 10.90 in good air. Is it worth the hassle to swap?

I don't know if it is worth the hassle or not but the Victor is a nice intake. Double check the thermostat area as well as the water fittings before you get too far. The M1 used a weird design up front on some manifolds. I'm also not a big fan of the Thermoquad carb pad that the Mopar engineers stuck on most of the M1 intakes.

I shift at 6600 and go thru the traps anywhere from 6600 to 6800 depending on what tire I am running.
