It's a 423ci small block based off a 340 R Block bored .040 over, oil mods done by RyanJ, Pro-Gram billet caps 1-4, and has a K1 crank and rods. The rods are 6.200 long and the crank stroke is 4.125. It has custom CP pistons to produce a 13.5:1 compression with Total Seal Max Seal rings. The heads are INDY 360-2 CNC ported and polished by RyanJ that flow 325/250. The intake is a MP M-1 single plane converted to a Dominator flange and ported by RyanJ as well. The cam is a bullet solid roller with 276/280 duration at .050 with .696/.712 lift with a 1.6 ratio rocker and ground on a 109. The carb is a Big's 1050 Dominator Stage 7. I'm using the T&D rocker setup and Smith Brothers .116 wall 5/16 pushrods. I have the lifter bores bushed because I'm oiling through the pushrod. I have the Charlie's 8 quart pan with a Milodon pickup and a Sealed Power HV oil pump. I'm running TTI 1-7/8" headers as well. I'm using a MSD Digital 6 Plus box with a MSD HVC II Coil and a MSD Pro Billet Distributor. I race at 600 feet above see level and use 110 octane Sunoco fuel.

Used to go 10s, now de-tuned to run super consistant mid 11s
Easy low maint. Super Pro car, but I have been too busy to even have it out this year, I may decide to race it at the Mopar Nats. with a For Sale sign in the window

I just wish it was little faster than it was. but i like them because u dont see many of them at the track..

Here is my sons, 408 W2 Ryan J roller cam, ported heads 904/999 w/low gearset,8 3/4,SS springs, best 60'1.37 Best time to date 9.94 MPH I'm not sure of but think it was 136

Here's mine its a 78 with a 440 MCH stage 2 cnc'd eddy rpms a .630/.650 solid lift 10.75 comp m1 intake with some work a 10in tci 3500 stall 950hp carb 2in tti headers and 3in ext weights close to 3700lbs with me in it best et is 11.05 @ 122 and 8 3/4 with 4.10s and a spool. Pump gas and street driven

I'd like to see that Aspen go 9 seconds!!!

Interesting comparison. My blown 340 Volare,3850lbs. Street trim best 11.01@122. Iron heads,240@.050 cam,2"headmans,7.8-1,4.30 8 3/4
w/posi. I've driven it a couple of times from Detroit to the Nats in Columbus.
