Since its only 3 weeks away whos going and what class u running in or if ur just going... I will be running pro in the Aspen and not sure what ill have in street yet either a 73 red duster or a 73 blue dart sport..

I made it in 99, 00, 01, and 02, havent made it since.

Ill be there in spirit though!

I made a vow to never go again until I hit the big one in carslile (sp)..

I am going, but not running in any class. Most people have seen enough 12-13 second cars, they don't need to see mine...But the burnout contest might be on the list! Never done that before.

I'm there. Haven't missed one at National Trail in more than 20 years.

Hopefully this year is as successful as last year (see pic & sig) and not like 2008 (broken ring gear).

I will be there but still not 100% sure I will be racing though I have to get the entry fee,new helmet,new belts,and hopefully I will pass tech
Maybe I should just put my Pay-Pal address up to get the money
Or just live(race) within my means

I'll be there enjoying the show and crusin----no racing and no showing. It will be the only show I do this year as I work 7 days a week. I've worked 114 days without a day off. I'm taking 4 days off for the show.

If you're talking about the new Challenger in your sig, then tech will take 5 seconds.

There are a ton of people racing at the Nats, but it's well organized. Worst problem is hearing your class call on the PA system. I'd suggest tuning a radio to their track station if your serious about eliminations and parked far from the paved pits.

I'll be in the young guns section of the car show. Supposedly we get 2 runs on saturday i believe i read somewhere. hope to get my stuff figured out, car has eaten to orange boxes since april. well the first one was fbo after 3 years and the orange box was BRAND NEW (under 500 miles )

im ready for it.. The cruise route changed this year some though they are having a wing zing downtown newark and will have mopar only parking for it. should be a good time if you have any questions pm me on here.

Send me all the cruise info....I usually drive the tires off my ride while I am there. Been working on it every night to get some things sorted out for some cruisen.

Here is the new cruise route - 3x as long and it should be a great time. Wing & Music Festival on the square in Newark with a beer garden, etc. 4 bands each night, 6-11pm. There will be a set-aside parking area for "Rods, Customs and Muscle Cars" staffed by a local car club, but it won't be Mopar exclusive. It's location is noted on the map.

Jeez....

Did you even read the threads about Wild Bill?

He never asked for that to be done.

People decided to voluntarily help because they like him and feel he's an asset to the Moparts community.

Maybe if you showed a little less attitude people will will go out of their way to step up and help you when you have a problem.

Your class (or lack there of) shines through again.

I'll be there watching the racing and checking out the swap meet with my car on the fun field during the day and cruising at night.

It was approaching gridlock last year but with the newly expanded route it should be much, much better

What is the difference if someones donates parts or a few bucks???? I'm not a big block guy and never have been. I have no parts to offer. So i shot him $10.. Big freakin deal

Some guys are offering to give him a block oil pans etc.... Things that are worth hundreds. The guy had catastrophic failure twice, we feel bad for him and are trying to help him out. I don't know about you but alot of us mopar guys think of our cars as a family member (weather our wifes/gf's like it or not) so with that being said a family member did die and I sent my condolences

I was going to make a comment on here,but it did not go along with the o/p.
Anyhow,I have been thinking about going,and running in Pro.Not quite sure yet,are there a lot of cars racing? I have not gone in a few years,and when I went it was as a spectator.

Pro class is the largest class there. they usually have about 300 cars or so its huge..i would say total about 500 total cars racing. its a good time.

I will be there to tech car on Saturday and make one pass, then off to Pacemakers for a day of racing and back to Trails on Sunday for eliminations.

I hope to make some time runs on Friday with my 72 Challenger. Don't plan to run the brackets, just making some (relatively) easy passes on a new combo. I guess I'll be in Pro with the masses. Also plan on doing some street driving. See you there

I'll be there manning a swap meet space (buddy of mine is using my enclosed trailer to haul his show car so I'm going to fill all the extra space up with swap meet stuff). It's just too far of a tow for me to bring a race car and only get to race for a small purse on Sunday. But someday I will bring a car just so I can say I did it and meet/race with you guys from the area.

Got my tickets the other day, and had the hotel info for a while now.

Things left to do:
Done -Clean all the tire rubber off the back of the Vette Killer from racing at Nostalgia Weekend
Done -Switch back to street tires
Done -Install efi and debug
-Change oil
-Clean the tow vehicle
-Pack a change of clothes
-Bring parts money
-Install new OD floor mounted switch
-Drive it a bunch more and have to clean it again

We've gone and did it. We have secured a 20 x 60 spot on the Manufactures Midway, near the starting line, right next to Mopar Muscle Magazine. We will have our mobile factory at the show, filled with a quarter mile of FireCore50 wire, 2 cases of our new FireCore Mechanical and Ready to Run Distributors. We will also have our new conversion distributor caps to switch from brass push in terminals to male post, and our new FireCore CD coils. Come by and bring your old wires for a free test, and check out our new line of FireCore products.

Am Busting my ass to get my junk put back together and race with the F.A.S.T. guys , hopefully pop the valve covers back on and load the trailer .

get some rubber on your quarters for the fast race.
