my bulldog heads valve seats are leaking again.I just put new seats in last summer,and im not putting anymore money in these.Im gonna have to see about the head fairy bringing me a new set while i sleep tonite.

I have a set of B1 M/Cs but I was going to try and
sell my mega block, alum rods , pistons, rockers
and belt drive all as 1 piece... all new stuff...I
was setting up a 514ci for a Q16 car... but that
wont happen anymore since I cant get a license

I would guess they cut the holes for the seats too deep.

I just dropped off my 360 block at my engine builders shop yesterday to start the machine work for the 408 build and he has a customers B-1 Heads for sale, he is supposed to give me a list a parts that go with them (they are complete w/rockers and valve covers, not sure on intake???)

I believe he said $2,000 for the lot...??? I can find out if you might be interested.

I hope the head fairy comes through for you. I had one of the first sets of BD`s and they were a disaster. I got into a set of SR`s after that. Big thanks to Muscle Motors and Dwayne Porter with that fiasco..

As for the OP. Indy stuff is a good idea as it will not require new pistons. Easier switch.

I am sincerely sorry for your head troubles. I'll make you a great deal on a set of B1-BS heads. They were recently rebuilt with new guides, new valves, new rockers and shafts and adjusters, retainers and locks, hold down hardware, several heli-coils replaced, comp. valve job, milled square and misc. unanticipated weld repair. But the're in great shape now and I'd believe anyone would stand behind them and the seller now. Shoot you can have them for what I have into them...my time is free. Let me know.

OK, I got the skinny on the heads today and they are not B1's they are a complete set of Indy SR's and include the following:

Manley Valves

Crane roller rockers

Pushrods

Roller Lifters

Valley Tray

Oiling Kit

ARP Head Studs (new)

Intake Mainifold

Valve Covers

His name is Dave and he's asking $2500 OBO his #239-776-1107

any questions call him, I'm not sure on the specifics...????
