71 Dart full interior / 12 pt mild steel cage / aluminum wedge big block / race seats / dana 60 minitubbed with spool and discs all steel with glass hood and no door bars / 3.5" x pipe exhaust.... guess should be without driver!

Well It's a Dart so factory spec??? I think 3100lbs total, Thats my guess..

how much does fuel weigh? 6lbs a gallon 7 ? I had a full fuel cell lol

6 pounds is a good number but the SG of the fuel will
vary some but for any general number 6 is good

on the back end)

Also did you weigh the front and back(push 2 tires
off) to see the weight distribution

I fill every 3rd pass on a 5 gal cell... takes about
1.2 gals from pit to pit... running E-85

BTW my challenger was 3850 with me in it and NO cage! so 3400 race weight and a 12pt is okay I guess....

I expected a little lighter, because of the all aluminum engine.

I figured it would weigh 3200-3300 lbs. My all iron big block Duster weighed right at 3275 lbs.
I figured your engine is 100+ lbs lighter, but all the tubing which adds up fast put it right back in there.

Put the car on a diet. It's easier, and you won't have to worry that it will gain it back!

I figured the cage would make up for the block but the
seats would drop about 50# for the pair and you can
figure a few other items are gone

since I picked 3225 I think 10 gals sounds race ready to me
