Time For A Change

Time For A Change - 07/06/10 03:17 PM

I was going to pull my W-9 today to find a oil leak
at the back of the engine.... well I decided to put
my back up W-2 back in... its been a few years since
I fired it but it all looks good and cranks over fine
so I'll put it back in and maybe pull the W-9 down to
give it a once over and see IF I can find some more
power in it

If there is some more to be found I am sure you will find it!!

Good to have a reliable back up engine on hand! Good luck with the swap. Don't forget to turn up the AC in the new shop, its AFRICA hot out there today!!

What CID is the W-2 engine?
What do you think the car will run with that engine?

Re: Time For A Change - 07/07/10 12:19 AM

sounds like a good idea!

It hit 94 yesterday here, and it was 95 today when i went to work.

Keep some water on hand if you can, or go in the air and relax and drink, then go back out.

That is what i do.

That's a great idea! It'll be a better 'mule' motor. Take your time in this heat. When you planning on going out next?

They dont race at the fairgrounds,

but they do race about 10 minutes away.

It is well worth it, you should try to make it.

Its a whole different world back there.

Chris... it got alot hotter in there about 2:00 or so...
I'm in no rush... plus I'm a retired old guy... it'll
be done tomorrow(hopefully running)
I should look at the W-9 to see if I can fix the oil
leak... or at least find the problem... if I have
any problems with the W-2 the W-9 will have to go
back in
