Nostalgia Pro Stock Race, No getting out of it now - 06/30/10 10:05 PM

I was considering going up to Thompson Raceway for the Nostalgia Pro Stock Shootout this saturday.

However I was on the fence as I really want to fire up the Charger that I've been working on.

Then this afternoon I get a phone call.......
Hi Greg it's Arlen I'd like for you to come up to Thompson for the race this weekend. Bring some parts samples, I want to introduce you to some people

Well seing as Akron Arlen Vanke is the Grand Marshall and an all around great guy how do you say no

Don't take much to twist my arm when it comes to racing

Anybody planning on going, like to at least meet up for a cold something or another

Is this a regular race for amatures like myself. I was was wanting to race my 1980 Don Hardy Pro Stock Volare, but thought it was for the "old Pros" only.

Especially the one made with the block

8 of the Nostalgia Pro Stockers had a closed session test and tune at Thompson tonight.
It was awesome.
If you want to see bleach burnouts, dry hops, rosin launches... be there !!

I just have to say :YOU CAN NOT MISS THIS EVENT !!!!
