Who sells the best " CHEAP " piston for a 408 stroker, street engine ? I know, I know....cheap isnt the way to go....I preach it all the time...now I'm being a hypocrite, so sue me ! It will be in a 408, with a hydraulic cam with .247 / .253 dur @ .050 and .494 / .507 lift.
Just looking for suggestions.

I won't use hypers in a stroker application. But SRP makes a nice fairly inexpensive forged piston. I think they are a good value for the dollar.

Check out the KB line of forged slugs. Good price and the first set of KB744's I've had in my hands were very nice.

I built a 408 and used the KB 744's in it 3 years ago and its still going strong. Running 10's
