Ladder Bar vs. 4 link - 06/03/10 10:43 PM

Anyone have any idea how much et is lost on a wheelstand. Thinking about switching to a 4 link so all the power goes forward and not up.

Thanks for your help Fred. I have some work to do before making a decision. I have to play with front end travel and rear shock adjustments.

looking at your pic...limit the front end travel....your fronts are hangin WAY down there. Then tackle shocks and wheelie bars.

I don't know the answer to your question.
But I think you have some chassis adjustment left to minimize wheel stand and improve ET before going all the way to the 4-link.

What is your weight bias (front/rear) now?
Is the engine in the stock location or set back?

Try moving the front of ladderbar up. What it does is make the rear rise more, and the equal and opposite reaction is downforce on the front for the time the rear is trying to rise. This will slow the upward rise for an instant, hopefully lowering your wheel stands.
