I wouldn't go that far. I did the research on this stuff. I'm not trying to rip anyone off. I had a hard enough time learning about all the wedge 5,7,8,9 stuff myself. The least I can do is use what little knowledge I do have

and help the guys that don't have the resources.

Just like you posted about header primary length. Thanks for that info I had no idea. But I think it would be impossible to squeeze all 4 2" tubes through that small area so that tube has to be longer.

Yes there is actually quite a difference they won't inner change.

If there is enough interest in 3/8" flanges I could do a run of them but more people want 1/2". So the run of 3/8" might cost a little more.

You know I was just going to ask how you were going to make the flanges, In three pieces or one piece. The 1/2" will grow at different rates than the aluminum heads. sometimes they will shear off the bolts if not given enough room to expand

I got my W8 flanges from SPD, www.spdexhaust.com
Available for most all SB Mopar heads in mild steel or stainless, 3/8" or 1/2" thick. Very nice pieces!

These will be just as nice at almost half the price.

There are 2 W8 flanges. Kaliher showed them to me when he made my dragster headers.

Better make sure what you have before you order....

If it is a W9 it uses a standard W8 circle track bolt pattern. Only the Drag W8 has a larger bolt pattern... & then W9RP is it's own seperate entity.

On a W8, on one of the outer cylinders the bolt spacing will be 3.06" CL to CL if it is a circle track casting, which shares same bolt pattern with all "normal" W9's. If it is wider than that, it is a Drag head.....

Yes there is enough to make a order. We have some 304 and 316 stainless drop. We will burn them out of 304. The stainless flanges are going to be a bit more expensive though. your looking at $37 a piece (because of the material and because of the small order.)

Everyone please email me your information and I will give you the address to send money orders to. The flanges will be done by the end of next week. So you can have them 2 weeks from today :banana:

Yo.... I hope that is not the drawing you are using to have your W9 flanges made from.....

That is Schoenfelds 2" W9 flange. Well guess what, like Aaron Yates suggested there in another post, they don't fit good at all. The shape & size of the "port" on the flange leaves aprox .020" or less in some cases of sealing surface on a W8/9 head especially in the corners around where the notch is to access the head bolt holes.... I have a set of thsoe Schhoenfeld 0408 flanges sitting here on the desk & just had them on a W9 & W8 head..... There is no way I would ever run that flange.

Now, yes that IS the correct bolt pattern for all W9 heads (NON RP) & all "circle track" W8 heads like Steff has etc. So yes it will bolt on, but it will not seal.

You shoudl be looking at Schoenfeld 0407 to make your flanges from. This fits the port/head much much better....

If you want to see some pics of Why the 0408 flange does'nt work well I can go take some.

I found a Century ski boat that had a 440 in it ,So I pulled the money out to grab it and bounced a lot of stuff. But at least I have a 440 mopar ski boat now!

To be honest, once I recieved the flanges the 1/2" looked rediculously thick to me. I think 3/8 would be plenty for any engine. But if you wanted thicker it can be done.

1/2" is the standard for Turbo headers. You have to remember that there is allot more heat than a regular header.

Yes... Sorry for the wait. We had issues with the SS getting laser time. When I put the order in for the W9RP there was a 35 day lead time. The SS are being shipped to me tomorrow. I should get them Thursday. So at the latest I will have them shipped to you and everyone else by Monday the 17th I don't hae plans on Saturday so I should be able to get them all sent out then.

The stainless have been a nightmare. First they were cut out of 5/16. Then they cut them out of the wrong alloy. Finally now they are cut out of 304 3/8 SS. Sorry for the long delay on these.

Yeah I put his order in. 3/8 mild steel. I actually had to do a run of 20 or 10 sets to get a decent price. Don't know what I'm gonna do with the extras.

The hard part is gonna be making 1 set of SS for Ryan.

They are gonna try to get them burned this weekend. They have been runing the laser 24/7. My buddy is getting another laser in at the end of next week. They are so busy I can never even talk to him, and he owns the place

Yeah you should. When I shipped all the mild steel ones it took around a week for people to recieve them since I only charged like $8 to ship I used USPS. I never looked into shipping but I ended up paying shipping. The gas prices are driving everything up. It's redicoulous. The one set i sent to Dos Snails cost a little over $16 and took like 8 days to get there. That was USPS. I'm pretty sure thats the cheapest way to ship. Live and learn I guess.

Guys I spoke to Jesse and he is in New Mexico for 1-2 months for his job because there is no work in Wisconsin so he had to go where work is.The guy that is making the flanges is suppuse to be making some more and when he is done with them Jesse's brother will send them out to you guys.He said where he's at he has no internet.

I leave in France and 3 month ago, I replied to an add of Jesse in this website (parts for sale) for a complete and new set of w9 jesel rockers. I paid 1050 usd (1000 for the parts and 50 for the shipping) 2 month after, i received an used and incomplete kit. I wrote to Jesse to explain how upset I was and he replied that he didn't know how a complete jesel rocker set can be and he saw the set was used just before he sent them to me... It seem they came from another supplier... I asked him to supply the missing parts (hardware) or reimbourse me. It was 15 days ago. No news... It's not easy when you live outside USA.
Some supplier are very honest like Ryan J. and some aren't like Jesse............ It seem...
Sorry for my poor english, I just wanted to talk about my bad experience with this supplier. I still hope he will correct this situation....

Very sorry to hear about your W-9 rocker experience. I Only know Jesse from online, and he and I and a few others were burn't for thousands by Kelly out of Texas a couple of years back. He mae some pretty strong accusations here on moparts, as did I towards Kelly. Jesse was pretty upset with the whole mess, I even more so. Therefore to think Jesse would do the same is really difficult for me to believe. But right now he needs to man up and fix this mess that is festering.

Not sure on the complete headers yet. The company that will be doing the tube bending is unsure if they want to do a small job like this. And I really don't want to cut all my own bends out of u and j bends. Very time consuming.

I'm leaning more toward the 1/2".

If I could get a rough estimate on numbers that would be great. I want honest numbers not guys saying I'll take a set then comes time to buy them and oh I don't want them.

Jesse, not sure why you dropped the ball on this one, you have a number of member's money, offer no response, and its been almost 6 months. You have left a mess.

Guess maybe the Moparts group buy is not such a hot idea afterall.

I bought a set of W9's off of Jesse back at the end of March with no problems. I have his number somewhere, I will look and PM you if I can find it. We are in the process of moving and I don't have internet access at home yet so it may be a few days.

Hi, please post it here, because there are more people around waiting for their flanges (or money back). I still did not get my stainless W9 flanges, he claimed they were cut of 5/16" instead of 3/8" as ordered, I told him I could get along with the 5/16" but he told me; not possible, they would be redone in 3/8".... Smelling fishy? I think money back is the right solution. I also sent him my R5/P7 files for information as he intended to make an engine, however, I did not get any comment on it.

Just make sure you don't get the 2" ones, they will not fit.

You could get SPD's if you want thicker flanges.....

Do you remember you sold me a complete set of new jesel w9 rockers ? Supposed to be new but arrived USED !
Supposed to be complete set but the ardware is still missing...

For memory help, that's your words in april08 :

"Sorry for the delay I am working very far from home due to no work in my home area, and it is very hard to find internet access. I have never bought a new set of Jesel rockers so I had no idea what all comes with them. I'll get in touch with the guy and see if I can get you the rest of the stuff. I know they were used for mock up. I wasn't told they were used. I'll get in touch with him as soon as I can. Sorry for any inconveinience."

Since... No news from you....

Glad you're back. What do you think to do to correct this situation ?

Well the guy I bought them from told me they were new. I had never purchased a set before, so I had no idea what all came with them new.

They looked new to me. The reason they didn't come in a Jesel box is because the guy I bought them from told me he buys the stuff in bulk from nascar teams. So I took his word for it.

I don't know what to do. The guy I dealt with took me for $6300. And no one can reach him. Last I heard the FBI was looking for him.

I think I may have found him on ebay but I'm not sure.

Besides the stands, hold down hardware, and rockers, what else comes with these kits? I don't know what else it would be missing. My P7 heads run jesels and thats all that consist of those rockers.

What would you like done?

Please supply the specific Jesel bolts that fix the 02 rocker stands to head and it will be ok.

Just for the record, Jesse reappeared here on Moparts out of the blue a little over 4 weeks ago, he was pretty vocal about trying to make amends and clear this matter up, and i even recieved a few emails stating the same. one said he would try and sell "My" flanges in order to get me my money returned, I informed him that sending the flanges would actually be preferred and said I was waiting to post on Moparts the satisfactory conclusion to this whole year long ordeal. I notice he has not posted once since 12/1/08 on Moparts, and wondered how long it might take to ship the flanges that he said he had, and then wondered if others were in the same position, guess so.
