Alcohol additive - 05/13/10 03:10 PM

It was suggested to me that I use an oil additive in my fuel on my alcohol motor.
Can anyone elaberate on this for me, as to the por's and con's of using an additive and witch one would be best.

Thanx: JoWeTu_6

I've used many different brands and feel the Klotz Uplon is by far the best. One bottle will treat 2 55gal drums. Keeps your pumps, fuel lines, etc. lubricated and somewhat protected from the alky. Less prone to corrode. I get mine from Comet kart sales
Some vendors sell alky with or without lube so you need to verify. I prefer without so I can add my own.

I really like Manhattan oil's power plus...I have used and sold it for years

Your valve guides and several other components will really thank you for using a lube..

And as mentioned above Klots is reall good also.
