Tubes or no tubes?

Tubes or no tubes? - 04/30/10 07:07 AM

What I would like to know is if anybody knows for sure what effect adding tubes or removing them has on reaction time? I need to slow my reaction time down a bit. I have everything turned down as much as I dare, launch RPM, tire pressure, etc. I shallow stage and have the biggest front tires I can get in there. I'm wondering if adding tubes might slow them down? Thanks.

Tubes make reaction time quicker. Makes sidewall stiffer..

Less air pressure will slow reaction along with front end travel..

You can also put a stop on it and leave closed..

You can add air pressure to the rear tires to get
a CONTROLLED amount of slippage... once you find the
proper pressure a 1/4# means a fair amount... and I'm
sure you already lowered the front tire pressure to
help slow it in the beams

How about stiffening up the front shocks
