Hemi challengers and other race cars at Indy

I worked as part of the tech team at the Div 3 Indy race this week. Despite the rain, there were lots of fantastic cars. Here are a few pic I got in the staging lanes. The race was canceled before the super stock class even got a time run.

Man, remember when Geoff Turk raced at Assumption with a ratty blue 383 Charger? He's certainly moved up in the world.

I got this one Thursday from across the track. (Don Bales SS/AH)

Ex Larry Morgan P/S with a 3-speed automatic.

These guys had some sort of issues and packed up Thursday.

Careful Dennis - you will could give away your age! LOL Assumption has been closed for more years than most folks in this forum have been racing!

I only raced there twice - back in '80
