usually when i test there, I just go saturday and they let you do as many runs as you want 12-2 and then the 2 scheduled time runs for whatever class you run..

What Kevin said is true. I got as many runs as I needed last Saturday before the official time runs and eliminations started. I also agree with the other folks, Friday night T&T is a mess. Lots of imports, squirrels, and people. Go Saturday.

I went last night (Friday), got there at 5pm and there seemed to be only a few cars that showed up. It may have been the weather, started raining around 7pm. I got 6 or 7 runs in. The people there were friendly, and everything seemed to run smoothly.

FWIW, my best run in the rental car (2010 Ford Taurus Limited) was 15.678@92.13 mph, 2.345 60', 0.055 RT. That was with traction control off, shifting from 1st to 2nd at 5,000 rpm (the 1-2 shift is really slow) shifted 2-3 and 3-4 at 6,000 rpm, but really finished the 1/4 right at the top of 3rd gear.

I haven't raced there in 20 years or more, and haven't visited the track in probably 10 years. Hopefully the image of the track has improved... it was a questionable place to hang out for awhile. I used to head down to MIR to get my fill, even though it was a longer drive.

Now that I've picked up another toy, I need to get it dialed in and over to Bandimere.

I go there every now and then. I went to an NSS race last year but I only did test & tune. I actually got as many runs as I wanted to that night. Ron

we run friday nights a lot at capitol. It can be a zoo but all in all not bad. a lot of people. We went about 3 weeks ago on a friday night. got 6 runs in a could have gotten # 7. traction was very good. hang the wheels about a foot in the air with a leaf spring car ran a best ever of 10.04 @ 134. just check the schedule and DO NOT go on an OPS night. you won't get any runs... otherwise I'd try it. friendly people, good time, fast cars.

Friday nights turn into a zoo around 7. But if you get there early and get teched in you can get a ton of runs before 6:30 or so. Sat's are good to. They usually keep the cars moving. I usually get better times there as well. Not sure why.
