Look to be breaking in a solid flat tappet small block. Iron block and heads. Alum rockers if that matters.

What do I add or subtract to the card lash spec just to get this broken in???

I just set mine to what the cam card specified and didn't have any problems. I did check them after break-in and had to loosen them, though.

With allum. heads I think it is to set them cold at -2 thousands so as the head heat up they will loosen up. On mine I just set them to spec cold on the dyno. Then re-adjusted after. I did not pull the inner springs and used GM E.O.S. No problems 4 years later. Good Luck
