4.5 bore hemi. I filed the 2nd's to .022. The 1st rings to .020. Well I got a bit frisky with one of the 2nd rings. Don't ask because I don't know where my head was,, but,,, .080. Ouch. Can I get away with this or do I have to get another ring?

Yeah I figured but guess I'd ask. So I'll have a 7 cylinder short block done today. Ha

Contact your ring manufacturer,explain what happened. Sometimes they will send you another for just shipping. Total Seal did it for me,you are not the first one that has happened to and you won't be the last. Randy
