Prayers needed for a racer's mom... - 04/02/10 10:48 PM
Hey all,
I'd appreciate it if you all kept my mom, Becky Watkins, in your thoughts and prayers for the next few days.
She was rushed to the hospital this morning after she woke up feeling dizzy and breaking out in a sweat. Luckily, my dad was off today(for good friday) and was able to call 911. She was diagnosed as being in Ventral Tachycardia (heart is racing, but not pumping blood) They shocked her, and luckily she came back to normal heart rythms...
Anyhow, she's currently in ICU until they get her stabilized, and then they're talking about inserting a Defribrillater incase this happens again.... Thanks- Andy Watkins

Thanks for the prayers all... They must be working, because she's stable now, they are just keeping her monitored. The doctor said that the first 24hrs after an event like this is when it is most likely to reoccur, and we're through that now.

Hope everything tuns out okay Andy, I will have your Mother's name mentioned in our church's prayers all this weekend. My mother in law had the same problem last yr. She is on blood thinning meds now and is doing just fine.
