Price of 110 leaded race fuel - 04/02/10 03:26 AM

I drove up to the pumps today expecting to pay over 7.25 for leaded 110 race fuel and was surprised to see it was 6.19 a gallon. It was over 7 bucks a gallon last fall.

Curious what everyone in other areas are paying now. I bought mine at the Pure Gas Station in Huntsville Alabama. They sell it year round at the pump there. Really makes it handy

VP 110 sold for $9.00 per gallon at MATs..

Bought a 55 gal. drum at Bandimere last month for 6.75 a gallon.Got it early to beat any price increase.

C12 is $45 per gallon over here. Sorry but I just have to about it.

We sell it by the gallon at the pump for $6.669 gal, Sunoco standard purple, leaded 110. We also have Sunoco 260GT 100 octane no lead for the same $$
West side of Cincy.

Paid $7.35 for Sunoco 110 the other day. 112 is 7.75 right now.

I used to buy my Sunoco right from the dealer that supplied the area race tracks here in N.J. but the business was sold after the guy that managed it passed away. So now I have to buy it at the track. I bought 5 gallons at Island last Saturday $44.50 for 5 gallons $8.90 per gallon.

we got a group buy going now, can you use a drum?
$400.00-$410.00 a drum
needed 10 drums for the buy and we got 23 drums ordered.

And even cheaper, I am using it from a 55 gallon drum I filled last year at $2.29/gallon.
Last year I burned 119 gallons of fuel. I figured I saved over $600 running E85 instead of 110 octane racing gasoline. And I will save that much again this year, and next...

Is that from Interstate Racing Fuel or somebody else?

When I was running alky (methanol), that is who I bought my drums from.

Thanks for the offer Chris but I have nowhere to keep a drum my garage and storage shed are all part of my house.

Interstate Racing Fuels, 410-922-9293, Allen Glack.

Although they are in Curtis Bay, MD; I am pretty sure they deliver to Atco and other areas out there. I think they carry Sunoco race gas. I am pretty sure he would like to sell 23 barrels to you guys.

$5.99 for 110 leaded at the local Phillips 66. The employees do not know what the actual brand is.

Paid $6.47 a gallon for Rocket 110 Leaded in Vegas at Bulk Rebel Station.

Last year it was 7.35 a gallon.

i can get 110 monster fuel for $358.00 for a 55 gal drum and $288 for pure E-85 that good to 15:1 compression and 8500rpm. and other higher test race fuel. these prices inclede freight. if you are interested give me a call @ 1-7112-790-6106 or shot me an email. i use to use VP and was around Rockett Fuel in the past. Know im switching to monster fuel.

I just bought a barrel of Turbo Blue 110 octane on Monday for $6.01/gallon. The price was going up to $6.40/gallon on Tuesday...
