trans filter adapter question

i am putting a deep sump trans pan on my 727 in my 68 roadrunner my filter adapter has two holes in it instead of one can i use it or do i need to get the one with one hole

The deep pan adapter should have three holes in it for the bolts and spacers to hold the adapter up to the valve body, also one large hole(the tube) to transfer the fluid up into the valve body

CB ... he is more-than-likely talking about the ATF pickup holes ... 2 holes is for the 62-5 trans with the rear pump.

You are OK putting that on a 68 trans.

Oh ... be sure to get a filter with only one ATF hole and also make or get a gasket for the adapter to valve-body that will "block" that not-needed 2nd ATF hole. Reason? ... you could start sucking air.
