I now not only wear my helmet in the car but also in the pits. I still dont remember much about the "incident" or even alot of the racing the next day. I hope I had fun.

We were asleep when the incident occured...I heard a commotion and didn't think anything about it...Steve told me in the morning..What did you get for a brake?...I also think you should call Kenny at PTC...I have had good luck with mine..

Re: TORQUE CONVERTOR - 03/08/10 11:00 PM

Last year I picked up a new CRT 727 super pro trans from a friend that was selling off his race car prodect because of family problems. More tranny than I need but the price was RIGHT.

Re: TORQUE CONVERTOR - 03/08/10 11:13 PM

I think Ill call both Jimmy and John and get their input. I talked to Paul at Turbo Action and he thinks 5500 stall. I think thats alot but what do I know, I cant even ride a golf cart with out falling off and most of my brains are still on pit road.

Lenny at Ultimate Converter. He's a member here and his product/customer support is GREAT! I run one of his older ones in my Mirada, we ran a 9" Coan that was updated by him in my dads car...but this coming year we're going to try one of his 8" converters. Friend of mine runs one in his 8 sec Challenger and he's sold a few Ultimates to his customers.

I got 8" T/A for my 904 back in 98 and keep telling my self its time to get it freshened up but it keeps on ticking off consistent 1.41 60's and 6.6s at 104 so I keep putting it off till the next season

For the record both of my 8 inch converters were T/A originally. Both freshened by Lenny, one a couple months ago I can`t wait to try it out this week end or next.
