Who is coming to the Mopars at the Motorplex race? 4-17 - 03/01/10 05:17 PM

Our 3rd annual Mopars at the Motorplex race is April 17 this year. How many of you are planning on coming this year?

Hopefully we won't have to use our rain date like last year and the turnout will be better. Diane Sox will be here as our special guest.

I will be there with the Dart for sure this year. Car should be out of the chassis shop within a week....then a mad thrash to put it back together. Might not be pretty, but we will be there racing.

I hear ya there!

My yard is still soggy from last fall! I have never seen it this wet around here like the past year. Maybe it will dry up enough that we can play a little more often this year.

Don't know if I am going to be able to come out this year. If I do I know I won't be racing anything. Unless someone needs a hired gun to pilot one of their missles.

About a "short" 45 minute drive South. I drive almost that far to work every day. Come on down!

Just rent a new Challenger or Charger and come out to "look around"..... maybe drive around a bit while you are there.

Cool! My trip to Plano is scheduled to April 5th so if nothing go wrong I'll be there for sure!

What can I expect from the event?

I plan on showing up.

I plan on bringing my Belv if I can get my car back together in time. LenMar has the motor, Best Machine has the heads, and Keisler has the trans. All should be back on site by the first week of April, then it will just be a race to the 17th.

Probably still be up in KY working. Would have to borrow a ride anyway since mine is slowly being parted out. Maybe run the wife's Neon if I am in town.

Looka like I'll be there. I had new slicks mounted today and front runners are scheduled for tomorrow. mechanically everything seems ready, just the tires needed replacing.

Nice Rick! Going to Dallas next friday! Will stay in Frisco by now. I don't know why. Asked for hotels in Plano area.

I hope they (my company) don't send me to another US state during this week . If so I tell them I need to meet some friends on 17th then they can send me everywhere!

Looks like just about everyone is getting ready! Should be a good event. Our special guest Diane Sox will be there selling raffle tickets for the Mr. Norm's Super Cuda.... nice ride! This particular car is the very first one that they built so it will be a real nice collectors item in the very near future!

Load 'em up and bring 'em down!

Well did it rain? I cancelled going, the forecast didn't look to good. I didn't want to get stuck in a hotel all weekend.

Live video from the Motorplex never showed anyone going down the track in the afternoon..only rain.
I wonder if Sunday is a wash also. I stayed home after seeing the forecast.

Now we know the scheduled Mopars at the Motorplex weekend was a "WASH".....is there a rescheduling of the event on the horizon??
