Sorry I can't help you out on it's location. I do remember going up to Burleigh Super Shell and seeing the car along with a 68 King Kong' Barracuda. His wife drove a 69 Coronet R/T convertible that still shows up at some of the car shows around here.We would ride up there on our Schwinn 10 speeds and wait until they were closing so we could here them put away all of the cool cars.

It seems to me that it spent some time in the hands of Artie Fulcher, but that's been years ago.I could call around and maybe track it down.

Hey now. Germantown, WI is the town straight west of me, and is about 15 minutes due NW of Milwaukee, WI.

Where on Burleigh St. was this "Super Shell" gas station? Maybe the car is still parked out back.

The Burleigh Super Shell was on N. 76th St. The station is long gone. I think there is a Pizza Hut there now.

Small world, I grew up around those guys and never heard about a mopar in the mix. In fact I never heard the word mopar unless somebody was making fun of ME!

Far side burnout box. I took this shot at DaGrove in the 70's.

Trivia question: Name the owners/drivers of this famous Vette in order. (turned into a bracket car here of all things).

Does anybody remember back in the early 80's a t5 bronze 69 Bee owned by a Kenny and had Beeware on the back 1/4s? Thats my dad's original car and I'm still trying to find it. I will have to get some pics uploaded. But Sheldon was Kennys buddy and he tied the unibody together and did a cage for Kenny, Kenny had Burleigh Super Shell on the front fenders of the 69 Bee as well.

This is when my dad owned it

It looks like the Wayne County Speed Shop Vette driven by Dave Hutchens or Albert Clark.

The Coonce & Clark looked similar. This is the Reher-Morrison/Lee Sheppard later Tony Christian driven world beater modified eliminator car. This photo it was a 5 speed bracket car.

Ok...here is one more from that era... Does anyone remember the "Soulfull Strut" Camaro that Reggie and Ebe (sp?) ran? How about Dick and Willy with the Black/Silver and Red/Silver (I think) '57 Gassers? THe Black silver car had a 302DZ with a tunnel ram and a four speed. Raced F/Gas, ran 12.00 launching with the wheels a few feet in the air.

? Just a thought...

If I recall there was a write up in MCG not long ago that Charlie Blankenship found and bought this car. Maybe that is him flipping it now

I have looked for that car for 20 yrs off and on, Spoke to Tony and everyone else I thought might have a clue and nothing. Clint Smith also drove that car. My best guess would be it is setting in a garage somewhere in the Chicago land area. In would bet the winningest car that Sheldon had was his 1981 Omni SG
