Growing up near Englishtown in the early 70's it still amazes me these guys are doing on carbs and gas what we used to marvel at from funny cars on blown Nitro!

AJ and Morgan both made it past the first round....AJ over Speiss, LM over Jeggie. Vinnie Dicliglia(?) appears to have gotten left on and lost with a qucker time.

Team Mopar's Allen Johnson goes to Round Two in Pro Stock and faces Roger Brogdon. We'll provide an update on the Mopar Sportsman classes shortly. Right now the NHRA Safety Safari is doing some much needed track prep as this is becoming a "one-lane" drag strip.

BTW, AJ just lost in the semi-finals to Mike Edwards - 6.64 to 6.61. Despite GM's pullout from NHRA, Edwards has his mojo working. Also, Morgan lost to Anderson - 6.68 to 6.63. Despite losing, Morgan had a killer light, .007 to Andersons .025.

Also, all the Mopar Racers in Stock and Super Stock have been eliminated.
