Best way or cheapest way? Either mild port eddy heads or these RHS heads will do.
10.3:1, hyd cam around 240@ .050 like Comp 285HL, rpm intake, 750 holley and good headers.
Lets not forget quality machine work!!
Quote:May i ask, what does it run? Sounds like a good build for my duster.
My 406" is in your range of power.
97' 5.9 magnum block .020 over
MP cast 4" crank (got it from a friend for 200 bucks)
Eagle Rods (I Beam)
Ross Pistons
Basic Rings from Ross
MP Hyd Roller camshaft, forget the part# and duration, its the crate motor shaft with .501 int/ .513 ext.
Iron Ram heads, stock size 8mm valves and beehives. OOTB
MP 1.6 Roller Rockers
M1 single plane intake w/ 1" super sucker
Proform 750 cfm carb
1 5/8" basic headers
Summit Balancer
B&M 904 Flexplate
And the most important: QUALITY machine work !!
Richard Hotard did the crank and a quality race formate shop did the rest of the machining.
Setup have been extremely durable and very low maint. Very streetable.
