Defbob Here is your DART update ***PICS INCLUDED*** - 01/31/10 04:37 PM

Well it is closer than before. Definetly a crap load of stuff that need to be completed. Still has a few small items and the major one which is complete the fuel system . That will be finished by the end of the month.

One of the pictures shows where we put the charging lugs to keep them from being to visible.

Front end is going to the body shop tomorrow to get the bubble raised and elongated some.

So the hope is to get it out and tested in March.















Here is the bubble cut in half





Look ma no SCREWS in the FIRE BOTTLES





This is the first time I can see light at the end of the tunnel because it is in my possesion and I am responsible for getting the things left to do completed. It has been like here it is but you can't have it

I must also take the time to thank everyone who has put up with me the last 14 months. My wife and kids.My Father in Law for giving me the opportunity when he did. In no specific order

Jimmy, that is one nice car! I saw it at PRI and talked to you guys for a bit. There were so many people, i'm sure you don't remember me but I was extremelly impressed with the attention to details. I don't think pictured can explainm this car. Can't wait to see what kind of numbers that baby will put on the boards. Good luck with your testing.

The whole front end comes off pretty easy. I really like the way the entire car has turned out.

It will move under it's own power by months end. We slaped it together to make the PRI and had a few items to complete. How do you think I feel. It almost made me give up a few weeks back the darn thing was getting the best of me. I was more aggravated than I was enjoying it.

So now it gets there when it gets there and that is one of the hardest thing for me to say. Anyone that knows me personally will tell you I am as wound up as they come so for me to think that way may be an improvement.

The plan is to run the car in March for the first time. We shall see how well it does and then see if you still want to run them together somewhere

I agree car looks great. Good luck and keep the shiny side up. You are lucky to have a short overhang on the front clip, looks real easy to load and unload unlike my car.

Wayne you are right that it is easy to load and unload. I did it yesterday alone and yes it was some funny CH!T made me LMFAO this morning.

I will do my best to keep it off the wall and it's lid oh and no fires....
