88 dakota, 3340# street/strip,old tired 318, 727 ,8 3/4.best et 1/8 mile,7.55@91.6 mph on drag radials and small shot of nitrous.currently working on a 340 stroker for it.

My 94 408 stroker magnum 5 speed. Never raced, but easily a mid to high 11 second truck. If it could ever hook up

I'll post a pic later of my old '94 440/727 Dak. 8 3/4 w/ 4.10's and a Sure Grip. Best 1/4 was 11.73 at 115. Was hoping to hit mid 10's with this coming summer...

My 97 with a 470/stealth, 8-3/4 rear 32x14 slicks, AAR hood 12 pt cage. I'm happy with the way it turned out.

I have seen that truck. We have run at Powerhouse and Dothan Dragway with a 10.5 Cuda.

My '87 running all leftover parts from our A and E body projects. 360 with a wimpy cam, 727 trans, 8 3/4 from a '66 Charger.

Currently it is a carbed 392 with OOTB Eddy heads, .224 hydraulic roller, 4.10 gears, 30" tires, super quiet Summit turbo mufflers, AC, PS, PB, stock interior with SRT-4 seats.
I have taken it out a few times and best is a 7.59 with a 1.61 60ft. I think I need more gear and the mufflers are killing lots of power.
But, a turbo is in the works, so all that is for naught!

mild 383 stroker build, managed to squeek out a 505hp on the engine dyno, but realistically it's probably making 475-480 at the crank as it sits inside the truck, and likely only putting 400-ish to the ground.
truck weighs 4200 lbs with me in it.
pretty slow too. 13.9 ET @ 103 MPH. if I get it to hook, it should be low 13s, and if I'm lucky, high 12s.
full street trim, full interior, all stock sheet metal, stock suspension, with hotchkis 2" drop coil springs and 3" drop leaf springs.

Not a Dakota but a Dodge D-50. Leaf springs, home made Caltracs, 315/60 M/T Drag Radials,2950 lbs. 394 small block, pump gas on motor only, so far. 1.34 60 ft.,6.34 @ 109 1/8 mile. Looking for some 6.20's in the up coming good air.

There is a guy named "Hairball " that had his new Dakota at the Monster Mopar event at Norwalk this past weekend. Does anyone have pictures of that truck. It looks fast just sitting still. It's lowered, a slight chop to the top. caged, tubbed, painted white with an orange stripe on the side. It has a stock 360 in it with an aftermarket cam and carb and runs in the 11's. His pit crew are 6 girls and they wear all orange shirts.

Only 1/8 mile around here also. My goal is to run 6.0' also for the 6.00 heads up classes around here.

RV2 there is a combination of parts you can buy for the install. Only problem is they are not available from the same vendor. The mounts and pedastals came from Schumacher. They are for installing a big block. Trans mount is also from Schumacher. The engine adapter plates came from Street and Performance. Same ones used to install a gen III Hemi in a B or E body. They work perfect together along with a Milodon oil pan made for the swap. The only issue now is headers. Passenger side is real tight. Truck manifolds fit fine if all else fails. Sorry to hijack. Keep on posting those good looking Dakotas!
