I have 295-50-15's under my satellite. Just enough room. I think a 305 would be pretty tight.

I currently have p285/70r15 bfg radial t/a under 69 road runner.Bfg discontinued them,but you can get them from Coker Tire (800)251-6336
I have them with 15x8 road wheels,8-3/4,regular shocks, and no wheel lip edges have been rolled. Car looks stuffed with them on.

315/60-15 on my 68 (M/T ET Street Radial) will rub a bit on the inside when you turn sharp due to no swaybars. stock dana 60 with 15x10 with 5 inch backspace

On my 69 coronet before I relocated the springs I ran a weld prostar 15/4.5 back space with a 30/12.5/15 MT ET Street
it was tite but it worked really good, barely rubed the leaf springs.

My dad has a 68 'net and he wants to put a 265/60-R15 on an aftermarket wheel. Would 4-1/2" backspace do the trick?? I think the wheels he has picked out have 3-1/2 and I don't want him to order unless he knows for sure but he is getting ancy.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Dodges have larger openings and have room for bigger tires. Compare any '66-'70 Dodge and the same year Plymouth and you'll see it.

I have a 69 Sport Satellite with MT 295/65r15's on 8" rims
With 4.5" back space. I have about 1/3" between the spring
And fender. It's tight but has never rubbed.

My uncle has 14.5x28 QTP's on his 68 RR with a 8 3/4 rear. Not sure of the bs on the rims.

In my opinion,they will look too small! I tried out a set of p275-60's a while back,and HATED the look!

That's what I was afraid of. I have 275/60R15 street tires on it now with 15x8 wheels. My car sits low and they look ok. But on the 10" wheels they might look funny. What kind of tire are you guys running in a 295/65R15? I want some type of a D.O.T slick / street tire. It does not hook up at all on the street tires. I would like to take it to the track for street tire night, but it has to have DOT tires.

you can get A LOT of tire under a 69 b-body. 28.8x12 on a 15" rim easy.

I think I am going to order 15x10 Jegs Sport Mag II with 4.5" back spacing and 295/55R15 Mickey Thompson ET street radial. Hopefully they fit under the old Roadrunner!!!

IMHO this is the biggest combo that will safely go under a 69 Plymouth. It's perfectly centered in the wheel wells, doesn't rub and looks perfect.

That's like a 30" tall tire! I don't want to go taller than 28"...but I want as wide as I can go. I'm going to order the 295/55R15 on 15x10 Monday. I'll let you know if they fit.

I just put a set of 295 55 15s on my bee with a 8" inch rim . Fit nice ill post pics in the morning.

Make sure you double check what the section width will be with a 10" rim. I think it's every .5" wider of a rim you use it pulls the sectional out .2". My tires were listed on Jegs website as an 8" rim width. Your sectional will be about .8" wider than mine and i only have about .5" of clearance on each side. Just make sure you double check I'd hate for you to order all that stuff and mount it up and it not fit. Your car may be different than mine.

Most bigger tires will probably rub the leaf spring with 5.5" backspace. Something between 4 and 5 inches is usually needed. At least mine is that way.

That looks awesome! 5.5" back spacing? Seems like most guys are running 4.5". Would your set up fit with 4.5" BS? Just wondering before I order rims.

I bought 15x10's with 4.5" back spacing with 275/60/15 ET Street Radials and I had to trim the wheel well lip off and roll it over so they didn't rub.

I do want to offer I bought a generic aluminum from Summit Racing, a 15x10 with 5.5" of backspacing. It fits perfect though it is close on the inside with Mickey Thompson product #3755R (295/55/15) ET Street Radial on it. It has tons of clearance to outside quarter lip.

15x5 or 15x6 are a nice size unless its more of a "touring" style car
