Towards the end of the season Scott Koffel tells me he wants to talk about my motor program for next season.

He procedes to tell me he wants to get more exposure in common racer feild and wants to use me to help promote that.

I don't even win that much

I'm not sure yet what is in store but I do know were going to put it on the Dyno in the next week or so to get a base line starting number.

So my motor is currently down at Koffel's Place awating it's turn in the shed.

I know it couldn't be in better hands

Mike, there is so much wrong with that pic I don't know where to start

I was planning on taking my video camera and recording the pulls.

I'm not even sure I want to know what it's making though

Bill, I think he picked you because his official color is blue as well.

. What would happen if he gave you back a Setback-Blown Top Alcohol B1 ? At least it will be painted blue, and kick serious A$$. Can't wait to hear what happens. At least it's a way to get some FireCore's on your engine.

CRT hooked me with good parts so hopefully it will be OK

Beleive me I more than honored to have this bestowed on me. As I stated, I have no idea what's in store after the dyno session.

All I know is anything he does with it will be better than what I could

I see a guy who's good for the sport, good for moparts and helps others. It's a win win deal!

Now about Manufacturers stepping up. Maybe someone can donate some gaskets & seals.

That is so cool, I have new found respect for Koffels, not that they were lacking before but it definitely makes me feel inclined to spend my money with them in the future.

The Koffels are the reason I decided to run the B1 heads. They are great people, racers, and take a genuine interest in Mopar and the sport. And their stuff performs better IMHO. They aren't at all like the Indy guys, where you have to deal through a dealer for anything, or want to fly there and slap them around. I would love to have a set of the B1 PSO's, but money is just too tight right now, maybe some day. But congrats, you must have done something right because sponsorships are very, very, very hard to come by these days.

From what I understand, this is exactly what Scott was hoping for. I just hope I don't let him down and this works out well for him.

KSJ, if you recall, I managed to get in on that sale for that JR Race Car had. 25% off was a god send and I got a ZR stage 8 3x3 block kit coming for Taylors car for next year.

And no, the car is getting painted red or any other color

All you have done to deserve this is being yourself= a fellow racer who involves his whole family,helps out others whenever help is needed,takes the time to take pics at the events and post them so anyone who will not attend can feel like they are there, and just an all around nice guy who is fun to be around

Maybe CRT can team up with Scott and build a killer trans/drivetrain to see just how much HP can withstand "The Wild Bill"
