New Full rear Wing and Chute..Testing Very Soon!! - 11/29/09 10:55 AM

Because Al always gives me Sh!$ about my car looking like a Modified Dirt racer,(no front clip) I thought I'd show that it's finally finished.

Now to mold in the new scoop and we are really close to go testing before paint..

Also got my new Centerline Qualifiers mounted on the new M/T tires..

Almost forgot the new wheelie bars too..

Yes, it is the same wrecked front clip. Brian Smith in Arizona City, AZ. is doing it for me.

I'm chomping at the bit here..

I just cut down my Mark Williams lug nuts.. (5/8") so they would fit.
I have spoke with Centerline about this and they are going to fix it. The machining of the lug areas are too small for the large lug nuts.

Fronts no problem..

I didn't cry for about a week..(was in shock)..

Yes.. The brakes are very good now..

Car is home safe and it is VERY close to go test..

Added new Ed Quay full body width wing and mounted the chute.

I know.. It needs a front bumper.. It's on the list of "to do's" I have the bumper.. Have to make up some mounts..

Not too bad.. No real instructions, just kind of "winged it"..

The worst part is that you have to drill holes in the body for the outside Dzus fasteners.

That was hard to watch..

The fit is very nice and Ed Quay is having a sale right now..

The plan was to re-paint the entire car. But I'm running out of time.
The last time Kenny Youngblood painted the car, he had it from April til September..

Was supposed to be 6 weeks..

Don't know yet. I may just match the front end and go race for awhile..
Then have it re-painted during my down time.. When it's 110+ out here..

Right now I'm just trying to get it ready to test out here in January..

Chris, if it were my car, I'd just have to sit in it all day... Eat, drink... everything.. I love those cars bodies so much. I used to love the Hurst Darts the most, but seeing your and Al's cars everyday on here has really made me see the light.. Looking great.. Do you need some stickers? Have a great Christmas..

Lookin' good! Good choice on the wheels. I was looking at those too. Centerline has come out with some really nice designs this past year. I went with the Rev wheel.
