I think if we would of bought the lift off hood that it porobley would have went to the windsheild but this was a bolt on.

Yeah that would look,since the black stripes are still on the cowl panel.I dont think the lines will look right because i beleive the stripe will be on part of the side of cowl.

I would have to see a good picture from above to see where the lines end up, but i think it can be made to work somehow and would look the best that way.

love it i like the way cowl hoods look and i also like the way forward scoops look (like mine). other than for clearance i don't see why anyone would combine the two? i don't like the way that looks.

Will you guys get off it with the chevy remarks? I mean Jesus Christ, it's the guys MOPAR and he can put whatever hoodscoop on it he likes. I think that cowl hoods look good on square bodied B and A bodies. I'm actually looking at one for my 68 valiant myself.
And just an FYI, these guys running 6-pack scoops on anything other than a 69 roadrunner or superbee are as wrong also. That scoop wasn't designed for anything else, and doesn't belong on anything else IMO. If i see another duster, dart, coronet, etc... With a 6-pack hoodscoop on it i'll puke...

I would extend the cowl towards the windshield and seal it to the carb...that should pick up pressure off the windshield to ram air down the carb...

I actually saw a car yesterday at Maryland like that!
He had a flapper scoop on the front side of the cowl. I hope Drag440 comes along to verify, because we both looked at it. A first for me.

Now since it is already on it I say go body color with the hood then do a modified strip down the center. Something like the Air Grabbers had.
I would love to see someone take the air grabber design and step up the center section to 4" or 5", and add a longer flip up air grabber section. I suck a photo shop, otherwise I would try to make one.
In any case, I like the rest of your car, and probably after some color the hood will look ok too.
