Sad to inform everyone we lost another local Ashtabula racer Thursday afternoon , Walt Saari from WS-Racing. He will sadly be missed by family and in racing community! May he rest in peace! WS Racing Walter S. Saari

That is sad to hear. I only had the opportunity to talk with him once or twice when they did the hood and decklid for my car. He was great to deal with.



Prayers for his family

I have known Walt a long time - I am sorry to hear of his passing he was a good man - prayers to his family.

Sorry to hear that. The few times I talked to him he seemed like a really good guy.

WS Racing will continue in business despite Walt's passing. His son Carl will continue to run the business and race their Dart.

Talked to Walt many times on the phone and met him when I picked up the glass front-end for my Duster.
Didn't know him very well but seemed like a pretty good guy.

He had a white rabbit that someone dumped.. I don't know if he adopted it or the rabbit adopted Walt but it was very friendly. Tried to give it to me but I've already got enough critters.

Our sincere thoughts go out to Walts family and friends.Curt and I raced with Jr. at Salem(Quaker City) years ago and all my glass on my 65 came from Walt.

I bought a few things off of Walt for my old green Duster and he was alway nice to me.

Met Walt a couple of years ago when he did the hood and scoop for my 65. Our thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.

Of ALLLLLLL the bad stories you hear of fiberglass companies Mr. Walt was always good to me and didnt even know me. He will be missed but is in a better place....
