Can you run a spool with stock axles,in a mid to low 11 second a body with slicks?

It's never a good idea to run a spool with stock axles. CHIP

FWIW, I ran one W/ stock axles in a 12 sec 3400# B body W/ wide slicks and eventually found the splines on one had twisted.

Well, I did with a 360 SB and never had any problems making about 400 hp + 150 hp nitrous. I kept breaking the suregrip unit so I switched to a spool.

NHRA requires that any car that goes 10.99 or quicker or any car that has a spool to use aftermarket axles.

i did in my dana, as long as i was footbreaking. changed when i went to trans brake. 7.10 - 7.20's in the 1/8 at 3400lbs
