Make sure that the cup is located as to get enough oil,too high and it may not get oiled properly.

I agree. And too low and it gets flung off of the adjuster threads before it reaches the cup. That's why most people shoot for 1 1/2-2 threads showing. Seems to be around the right amount to oil best and not break from being too far extended below the rocker.

True,it depends on the style of rocker and the length of the adjuster above the ball and the oil hole location.

I ordered mine thru Comp Cam's, but any pushrod company can make them for you.

I myself would put the ones in and try them... if
they are too short they wont get oil into the cup
but the oil should be shooting up and hitting the
end of the rocker area... the reason you dont want
alot of thread sticking out is the side load when
the valve is open.
Put them in and presurize the oiling system while
turning the engine over and see if they are getting oil....
I would waste $120 for a 1/2 thread unless they werent
getting oil....... JMO

As long as edge of the cup isn't hitting the bottom of the rocker and it's seeing some oil it should be ok.

I've even hit the edge of the cup on the belt sander
to get a little clearance... more so with big lift
