Found my oil pressure problem, Thanks guys

Found my oil pressure problem, Thanks guys - 09/30/09 04:39 AM

After checking everything I could think of, Decided to pull the plunger out of my new single line pickup cover. The cap was loose. I had the cover off to deburr and check the pump and never pulled the plunger. Had to read the meaning of "assume" again. Long story short, sucking air around the cap. Oil pressure went from 30-35 fluctuating at idle, 80 dropping to 60 above 3500. to 40 steady idle and 80 steady above 3500. Cut open my second break in oil filter after changing to Wix. And it is clean . First drive this weekend. Galen
