What can anyone tell me about this block? How far can they be bored? How much stroke can you put in one without too much trouble? Looking to build a blower motor with this block and some MP stage 5 heads. Any help would be appreciated!

Ok cool, it is in a running car now straight up 426, small hydralic flat tappet cam and a MP cross ram intake.

Can it be bored much more than .030" or .060" from where it is now?

How much stroke can I put in it without too much trouble?

I would like to at least get to 500 cubic inch.

Anyone make shelf blower pistons for a Hemi?

Unless it was a unbored siamse block(not likely probally) it won't take much more than a stock street hemi block will on the bore size, 4320 max usualy I built one of those blocks that was 4,180 unbored, I had it sonic tested and decided to bore it to 4.25 and leave at that. I used a 4.375 stroke blower crankshaft with counterweights to use with the 10:71 Littlefield blower, Stage V heads and two 1050 blower Domintor carbs. that combination made 925 HP at 7300 RPM with 7 lbs of boost on CA pump gas several years back

That combo sounds pretty close to how I see this project turning out, thanks for your input.

If your going to that size stroke or bigger get one with the BB Chevy rod journal size, 2.200 Lot more choices on rods and less grinding on the block needed to clear everything

I will trade my new World Hemi block for a new older Mopar Performance Hemi block.

It sounds like the block you have is a Mopar Performance replacement block. They are a good block up to .060 and should be sonic checked after that. They look more like a stock block than the World block, that is why I'm looking for one.

PM me if your interested.
