I know this sounds crazy,,,,,but has anyone ever put a 4-link under a stock floor pan?,,A-body or B-body

Yea It's been done but why? Doesn't work out very will from what I've seen. Just back half it.

Typically this has been done using short top bars like some of the old street rod kits. You would be better off with ladder bars than one of these set-ups.

That's what mine is. It's an old Art Morrison kit that uses a shorter upper bar. I have reached the limits of tuning it with my current parts, and it won't hook with the trans brake. My next step is adjustable shocks, and possibly replacing the leafs with a basic lower bar that will be simply there to locate the housing, and put coil-overs on it. One smart thing I did was to make sure the shock mounts left me enough clearance to put coil-overs on it.
